History
The International Association of Forensic Sciences & Criminology (originally The Puerto Rico Association of Forensic Sciences) was recently changed to expand the association internationally now that we have approximately 750 members of which 50 are from Latin America, United States, Spain and South Africa. The incorporating founders are: Prof. Evaristo Alvarez Ghigliotti, Prof. Edwin Crespo Torres and Prof. Ralph Otero.
The IAFS&C administrative offices are now established in Bayamon and Caguas.

Code of Ethics
The members of the IAFS&S shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and promote the highest quality of professional discipline in the field of forensics for the advancement of the application of scientific knowledge and interaction with the system of justice.
